The Legendary swivel chair from Bree's New World initially stands out for its organic design and generously filled, inviting upholstery. Especially when upholstered in a contrasting fabric-leather combination, it is an armchair that requires quite a bit of attention.
Still, in our opinion, the appearance of the Legendary is not the main feature where this swivel armchair excels. In our opinion, that is really the fantastic seating comfort. At Bree's New World we absolutely don't like to brag, but for the Legendary we like to make an exception. After repeatedly adjusting the frame, searching for the optimal angle of the shell in relation to the swivel base and frequently playing with the thickness of the foam, a seating comfort was achieved that our entire staff raved about. Your lower and upper back are supported sublimely, without too much pressure and your arms are wonderfully relaxed on the low armrests. The seating area is a mix between passive and active, which also makes this armchair multifunctional in terms of the activity you want to perform on it. So whether you like reading, gaming, 'Netflixing', philosophizing, knitting or drinking wine, the Legendary will keep you going for hours!
The name of this swivel armchair is not intended to be arrogant, but it is a tribute to the father of director Leen van Bree, who passed away in 2019, namely Arij van Bree (hence Legend-Ary), who was still active until his death at the age of 91 for Bree's New World. Partly for this reason, a lot of extra time and effort has been put into developing this armchair.
