Compact
A solid core compact plate is made by compressing wood fibers or impregnated paper and resin under high pressure and high temperature. Compact plates have established a reputation for quality and durability. A compact plate combines the durability of an HPL plate with a closed, impenetrable surface that is easy to clean and disinfect. Bree's New World uses solid core compact plates for the dining table, corner table and coffee table and Presto.
Cleaning and maintenance:
The compact plates that Bree's New World uses for its tables can easily be cleaned with a warm, damp cloth. If necessary, a mild detergent can be used. Always dry the Compact table top thoroughly with a dry, absorbent cloth. The use of strong acid or caustic substances is not recommended. In addition, materials with an abrasive effect may not be used to clean a Compact table top.
